Activate your licence
After checkout you receive a licence token by email. It is a signed string, not an account — there is nothing to log into.
Open the email
It contains a yankd:// link and the raw token, in case your mail client strips links.
Click Activate
The link opens yankd and applies the licence. If nothing happens, use the manual route below.
Check Settings → About
It shows the tier and the email the licence was issued to.

If the deep link does not work
Open Settings → About → Enter licence and paste the token. It begins with YKD1. and is a single line — mail clients sometimes wrap it, so make sure you copy the whole thing.
Why activation works offline
The app verifies an Ed25519 signature against a public key compiled into the binary. It never contacts a payment provider, which means a merchant outage, an account freeze, or us changing provider cannot disable software you paid for. It also means the check works on a plane.
Device limits are advisory
An offline-verifiable token is inherently copyable, and we would rather say so than imply an enforcement we do not have. Making the limit real would require the app to phone home, and a network dependency to unlock a local clipboard is a bad trade.
